Continental Society Holding Annual Meeting

The Continental Societies Inc. will hold its 65th annual Conclave June 23-26.

The Society is a non-profit, tax-exempt, international public service organization founded in 1956 by a group of energetic and dedicated service-oriented women  

15th National President Gwendolyn A. Lindsay will preside along with the chair of her advisory team, Nkechi G. Winkle.  The Meetings Chairs are Goldie Pettaway and Dr. Doris  Granberry.

The Society looks forward to a historical event featuring speakers, workshops, sisterly activities, entertainment and award and scholarship presentations. With the first time in history of having 1,000 + members the excitement is in the air.

The co-host of this stellar event is the Newnan, Ga Chapter President Melvinor Kendrick. This chapter has a technical scholarship that was created regionally for the SE region eight years ago that is now done locally by the Newnan, Ga Chapter, and known as the Melvinor Carlton Kendrick Technical Scholarship. One can contribute by contacting the Chapter.
