Everyone has their favorite county fair food. And tastes vary widely. Whether it’s cotton candy, candied apples, fried … well anything … everyone is sure to be satisfied a the Kiwanis Coweta County Fair starting this month.
And if it’s fried, you know you are at the fair!
Besides the regular fare below, try out the three booths up at the food court. They are run by the organizations below and are considered big fundraisers for them. Plus they have some pretty good food, so please help support them.

  • Funnel Cake: Fried batter typically topped with powdered sugar.
  • Cotton Candy: Fluffy, spun sugar confection.
  • Caramel Apples: Apples coated in caramel, sometimes with other toppings.
  • Popcorn: A simple, buttery classic.
  • Snow Cones: Shaved ice with various flavored syrups.

Deep-Fried & Unique Options
  • Deep-Fried Oreos: Oreos dipped in batter and deep-fried.
  • Deep-Fried Pickles: Sliced pickles coated in batter and fried.
  • Deep-Fried Mac and Cheese: Mac and cheese formed into balls or other shapes and deep-fried.
  • Deep-Fried Cookie Dough: Cookie dough that has been deep-fried.
  • Beer-Battered Cheese Curds: Cheese curds dipped in a beer batter and fried.
  • Churros: Fried dough pastry, often coated in cinnamon sugar.
