Area Sports Calendar plus College & Pro Sports This Week

From Staff Reports
Locally, it’s Week No. 5 of the 2023 High School Football Season with all six Coweta County squads in action on Friday, Sept. 15.
East Coweta continues to dominate the local headlines, especially after a 31-14 thumping of traditional-power Sandy Creek last week. The Indians now are 4-0 on the season and now face another strong program this week when East Coweta hits the road to meet Lownes.
Two other programs have winning records to date … Northgate is 3-1 on the year following a 34-3 win at Griffin and Central Christian is 2-1 after a 40-0 blanking of Hearts Academy.
Below are some major college football games of interest with kickoff TV Networks and kickoff times. Plus, we have the Atlanta Pro teams schedules for games this week.
