Black History Month Celebration scheduled for Thursday

The Coweta County African-American Heritage Museum and the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society will co-host a Black History Month Celebration on Thursday, February 23.
The Celebration will take place from 6-7 p.m. at the Historic Train Depot (60 East Broad Street) in downtown Newnan.
This free event will be a celebration including dance, music, song, spoken-word and a brief lecture. There will be two dance performances, drumming and live music by percussionist and jazz player Jerry G. White, and an appearance by singers Arnotti-Stephens and more. Light refreshments will be served.
