Eye Spy Camera Scavenger Hunt

Bring your camera and take a look around our park for the items on our scavenger hunt list. Take a picture with each item on our list and bring your completed list and pictures to the office to claim your prize. Remember, this is not a race, have fun! $5 parking.

Bee Mine Valentine Day’s Craft
Saturday, Feb. 9, 1-2 p.m..
Join us to paint tree cookies and make the perfect Valentine’s Day gift. Meet at visitor center porch. $3 plus $5 parking.

Homeschooling in the Park – Unique Trees
Wednesday, Feb. 13, noon-1 p.m.
Join our naturalist to learn about native trees found in Georgia along with a craft to take home! Meet at the cabin’s picnic shelter. $3 plus $5 parking

Sunset Hike
Friday, Feb. 15, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Join our naturalist to hike the river trail and enjoy the sunset on the way to the lookout tower. Meet at Day Use boat ramp. $2 plus $5 parking.

Arbor Day Celebration
Saturday, Feb. 16, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Join our staff in cleaning up the park and planting donated trees in the park in celebration of Arbor Day! Free to all guest, meet at visitor center. $5 parking.

Kids Survival Skills
Saturday, Feb. 23, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Join our naturalist to help your kids prepare for hiking and camping outdoors! This class will have three sessions: Campfire building, survival skills and dangerous plant ID. Designed for children ages 7+. • Pre-registration is required for this event. Please pack a lunch and dress for the weather! $10 plus $5 parking.
