The 2025 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair is right around the corner, and you’re invited to join in 11 days of unforgettable fun and celebration from September 18-28!

From animal exhibits and livestock shows to circus acts, contests, educational events, and mouthwatering food – there’s something for everyone to enjoy at this beloved community tradition.

Free Contests & Demonstrations

Who doesn’t love free fun? Many of the contests and individual exhibit entries at the fair are free to enter, and you can even win cash prizes! Whether you’re a kid, teen, adult, or somewhere in between, there’s a contest just for you.

• Gingerbread House Decorating Contest (Pre-K–7th grade): All supplies are provided – just bring your creativity! Winning designs will be on proud display at the fair.

• Youth Art Contest: A fan favorite returns! Young artists have 35 minutes to create a masterpiece with provided supplies. Winners will have their art showcased and receive cash prizes.

• Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Open to school-age kids through adults. Pumpkins are provided, just bring your decorating supplies (no carving) for a chance to win big and celebrate fall in style.

• Cattlemen’s Steak Cook-off: Think you’ve got the best steak recipe? Open to amateur cooks 12+, this sizzling showdown includes provided steaks. Bring your grill and your A- game – spaces are limited, so register soon!

• Diaper Derby: Ready, set… crawl! The crowd-favorite Diaper Derby is back. Little racers, ages 6–12 months and not yet walking, make their way down a 10-foot track in an all-out crawl to the finish.

Educational Events & Demos

•  Master Gardener Extension Volunteers will host hands-on educational activities. Swing by their booth to get expert advice or catch the Coweta vs. Carroll Jeopardy-style gardening competition and milk jug gardening demo in the exhibit building.

• Mrs. Olivia’s Cooking Demos: Don’t miss the wildly popular bread-making demonstration and healthy cooking demos. If you haven’t seen her in action, now’s your chance!

Free Exhibit Entries

Showcase your creativity and talents in the fair’s wide variety of exhibit categories – from canned goods and quilts to photography, flowers, and fresh produce. All entries are free, and division winners receive prize money. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a seasoned pro, your work could be on display for thousands of fairgoers to admire.

Celebrate Agriculture on Farm Day

Join us Saturday, September 20 at the Ag Building for Farm Day, a tribute to Coweta County’s rich agricultural roots. Enjoy giveaways, butter-making, pollinator education, the Mobile Dairy Classroom, and more. Don’t miss the police K-9 demo and the animal exhibits featuring goats, ponies, cows, and more, lovingly raised and shown by local 4-H youth and volunteers.
