Coweta County School System closed Tuesday

All Coweta County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 29, due to the winter weather advisory issued for this area.

The decision follows a winter weather advisory for Coweta County issued by the National Weather Service, and follows the Georgia Governor’s travel advisory and announcement of state office closures in 35 Georgia counties, including Coweta County, due to potential winter weather.

Coweta County School System students and employees should not report to schools on Tuesday.  All extracurricular activities scheduled for Tuesday evening have also been cancelled.
