Coweta-Fayette EMC Member Appreciation Day takes place Saturday

The 2019 Coweta-Fayette EMC Member Appreciation Day and Annual Meeting is set for Saturday (Oct. 12) from 9 a.m. to noon.

This day is fun for the whole family, and why not bring the entire gang this year. Family-friendly entertainment, midway games, food and drinks, as well as a gift for every member household, and numerous door prizes make this a must attend for many locals each year. Piedmont will host a Health Fair and the grand prize giveaway will be a $1,000 electric bill credit (must be present to win).

It takes place at the Coweta-Fayette EMC headquarters, located at 807 Collinsworth Road near Palmetto. Registration is from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.

C-F EMC asks that attendees bring the notice which was mailed to be eligible for the member gift. Parking is also available at Northgate High with transit to and from the event.

In addition to the family-oriented festivities, the annual business meeting will also take place which allows members/owners a say in how the utility is run. Members serve on the Board of Directors and are elected by members.
