Day 2 – Krazy Kickoff Day at the Kiwanis Coweta County Fair

The 2022 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair kicked off its 11-day run yesterday and goes into full gear this evening.
After Thursday’s Midway Preview Day with only rides and food available to patrons, tonight is the first full-day of Fair events as Individual Exhibits open in Exhibit Hall and entertainment is scheduled throughout the evening.
Today’s hours are 5 p.m. to midnight and an almost perfect weather forecast is slated with sunny and clear skies and temperatures ranging from the low 80s when the gates open to the upper 60s at midnight.
Admission is $5 nightly with Ride Armbands $35 on Fridays and Saturdays. Ride Armbands are $30 Sunday through Thursday. Parking is free.
Day 2 Schedule – Friday, Sept. 16 (Hours: 5 pm-Midnight)
5-10 p.m. – Individual Exhibits open, Exhibit Hall
(Ag, Art, Baked Good, Handicrafts, Horticulture, Photography and Preserved Foods)
5 p.m. – Rock & Read, Walker Horne Stage
6 p.m. – DJ Dance Booth, Walker Horne Stage

Sneak Peek at Day 3 Schedule – Saturday, Sept. 17 (Hours: Noon-Midnight)

Noon – Commercial Dairy Heifer Show, Livestock Arena
2 p.m. – Photo Booth Contest, Exhibit Hall
2 p.m. – Cooking Demo, Exhibit Hall
4-6 p.m. – Ask The Master Gardener, Ag Building
5 p.m. – 4-H Horse Show, W.C. Adamson Horse Arena
6 p.m. – Mayhayley’s Grave, Walker Horne Stage

Fair hours are 5 to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to midnight on Fridays; noon to midnight on Saturdays; and 2 to 10 p.m. on Sundays. Parking is free.
