From Staff Reports

The first weekend of the 2024 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair wraps up with an 8-hour day of fun and family entertainment on tap.

Gates open at 2 p.m. for Day Four with admission prices at $10 (children 5-and-under are free). Sunday’s session closes at 10 p.m.

The weather pattern, which has seen lots of damp and windy conditions the first three days of the Fair, appears to be changing for the good. The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says there is only a 30 percent chance of showers with a thunderstorm possible during Sunday’s Fair hours. High temperature will be near 75 degrees with winds from the East at 10-15 mph, gusting to 20-25. Monday’s weather and the rest of next week looks dry, warm and less breezy. Any weather-related issues for the fair, folks can check the KIWANIS COWETA FAIR FACEBOOK PAGE for updates.

Parking is free for the entire run of the Fair. The Coweta County Fairgrounds is located at 275 Pine Road in Newnan. For more information on the Fair, visit https://www.cowetacountyfair.net/.
