The final evening of three consecutive Free Gate Admissions is tonight as the 2024 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair rolls into Day No. 8.

There’s no gate admission on Thursday, thanks to sponsor Jake Stanley of State Farm. Gates open at 4 p.m. with the session closing at 10 p.m.

Entertainment scheduled today include Walker Family Bluegrass, Coweta Historian Jeff Bishop, Extreme Sculpting by Chainsaw artist Chris, Bob Seymore – The Living Statue, the Iron P Homestead Exotic Petting Zoo, Princesses, Inflatables and Crafts. There are no competitions scheduled.

Thursday’s weather forecast from the National Weather Service in Peachtree City is perfect. The forecast calls for sunny skies and a temperature near 85 degrees when the gates open. Northwest wind will be 5 p.m. By closing time, fair attendees can expect the temperature to be near 70 degrees with calm wind. For the latest info on the weather, click HERE.

4-10 p.m.

ADMISSION: Free, sponsored by Jake Stanley State Farm

RIDE ARMBANDS: $30, unlimited rides on day of purchase only.

• Animal Exhibits in Ag Building and Midway.

• Primetime Carnival Kiddie Rides, Family & Major Rides, Games, Food Concessions – Midway
• Inflatables, Games and Crafts – Lawn in front of Walker Horne Stage
• Walker Family Bluegrass, 6-8 p.m. – Food Court
• Coweta Historian Jeff Bishop, 6:30-7:30 p.m. – Exhibit Hall
