Drug Take Back Day A Success

Approximately 232 pounds of old or expired prescription drugs were turned in to law enforcement authorities for disposal during Coweta County’s second Drug Take Back Day.
Combined, 144 pounds were collected by the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, 63 pounds by the Newnan Police Department and 25 pounds by the Senoia Police Department.
GBI Special Agent Kristen Aller, Angie Hellwig, Lt. Jason Fetner, and Nora Ann Wood were on hand to collect old prescriptions.
