Fall Plant Sale set for Oct. 12

From Special Reports

It’s that time again!  It’s time for the Fall Plant Sale hosted by the Coweta County Master Gardeners Extension Volunteers.

The Fall Plant Sale will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Greenhouse, just behind the horse arena at 275 Pine Road in Newnan. The Sale is from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Shanna Campbell-Yeaney and Kathy Olmstead, are co-chairs for the sale this year. The Fall Plant Sale will have an organized beautiful assortment of trees, shrubs, bulbs, natives, crepe myrtles of many colors, as well as hardy perennials.  Work has been underway since the week after our Spring Plant Sale.

The greenhouse is bursting at the seams with treasures awaiting their new home in your garden so bring your boxes, small wagons, and cash or checks.  Please remember this is a volunteer non-profit organization credit cards cannot be taken.

Monies earned from plant sales go back into the community in the form of educational programs, Boys and Girls Club and 4H support, and the beautiful McGuffey Nature Trails and Heritage Garden, as well as scholarships to deserving graduating high school students.  Master Gardeners will be available to answer your questions or garden concerns too!

Sorry no pets are allowed at the Plant Sale.
