From Special Reports:

The Healing Bridge Clinic raised more than $20,000 to help fund the clinic’s operations from its recent golf tournament.

The annual spring event was held at the magnificent Braelinn Golf Club with perfect weather, according to organizers.

The community event supports the HBC mission of providing free medical care to the uninsured residents of Fayette, Coweta, and South Fulton counties.

The winner of the longest drive, Joe Waller was awarded a new Ping driver, closet to the pin winner, Matt Parmer received a new Ping putter, and Don Stephens scored his first ever hole in hole.

Will Garner, executive director of Midwest Food Bank, and Mike Conaway, executive director of the Healing Bridge Clinic, jointly announced a partnership between the two local non-profits that they will combine forces in 2020 for a huge community golf tournament and fund raiser. Believed to be the first of its kind, the 2020 tournament will benefit both organizations.

The Board of directors, staff and volunteers of the Healing Bridge Clinic wish to thank the community and Braelinn Golf Club for an amazing day.
