Independence Day Parade rolls through downtown Newnan on July 4th

Main Street Newnan’s annual Independence Day Parade is set to roll through downtown Newnan on Sunday, July 4 at 4 p.m.
The Parade will begin at Veteran’s Memorial Park at the corner of Temple Avenue and Jackson Street and will proceed south on Jackson. It will end at Long Place (corner of Jackson and LaGrange Street).
Main Street Newnan encourages all interested participants to register at www.mainstreetnewnan.com. Registration is required for participants that intend to use a motorized vehicle and participation is free.
It is highly recommended that walking groups register in order to receive informational updates. Walkers should report to the Veteran’s Memorial Park on Temple Ave. Floats will be staged at a different location and must be registered by June 23 to participate.
Free public parking is available along downtown streets, and in the City of Newnan’s Public Parking Lots located at: 13 Lagrange Street, 25 Lagrange Street, 22 Spring Street, 6 First Avenue, 50 East Broad Street, 65 East Broad Street, 41 East Washington Street and 22 East Broad Street.
