Entrance/Exit Route for KNB Paint Recycling Event.

EDITOR’S NOTE (March 10) – Keep Newnan Beautiful has announced a slight change to the route used by customers/residents for its Paint Recycling Event on Saturday, March 13.

The ShamRock Run is scheduled from 8-10 am on Saturday morning also in downtown Newnan. During the 8-10 am period, residents can only ENTER the Paint Recycling Event from Lagrange Street onto Gilbert Street and EXIT onto Spring Street.

Residents will then have to use Spring Street to cross Lagrange to return to regular traffic.  Officers will be at entrance and exit to direct traffic. Please be patient and alert during this process. We apologize in advance for any delays due to this last minute change.

Keep Newnan Beautiful will host a Paint Recycling event on Saturday, March 13.

Fees will apply for the various types of paint during this event, which takes place in the Newnan City Hall parking lot located at 25 LaGrange Street in downtown Newnan. It will be from 8 a.m. to noon.

Paint Recycling is for wet paint only. Costs are $1 each for spray paint can, $3 per gallon of latex paint, $4 per gallon of oil paint and $3 per gallon of deck/wood stain. No solvents, paint thinner/remover, epoxy,  adhesives, laquers, gasoline, mercury or lead paint will be accepted.
