The UGA Extension Coweta County Office will host a Lawn Care Tips for Homeowners Workshop on Saturday, Feb. 26 at its office at 255 Pine Road in Newnan.

This free event will begin at 10 a.m.

Homeowners will learn various features of lawn care listed below.

• Practical steps for a healthy lawn.

• Minimize battles with weeds and disease.

• Essential routine maintenance activities.

• Basic steps for maintaining a weed-free lawn.

• How to identify and control several common lawn diseases.
