CHRISTMAS BAZAAR AT NEWNAN’S FOUNDATION CHURCH

11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. … The Coweta Association of Retired Educators Christmas Bazaar features Baked Goods, Crafts and Gift baskets. Use Perry Street entrance, next to post office with parking available across the street in the corner parking lot. Funds raised help support scholarships for Coweta County School System high school seniors who want to pursue a degree in education.

CHRISTMAS MAGIC SHOW AT MADRAS PARK

9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. … The 5th Annual Great Gingerbread Build will take the Newnan-Coweta Habitat ReStore. Registrants will receive a gingerbread kit complete with icing, candies, foundation, etc. Teams will be given 1 HOUR to complete an entirely edible, self-standing gingerbread house. This event has grown in popularity over the past several years and the competition is steep, so make sure to bring your own additional edible ingredients that will make your confectionary creations stand out! But beware! No building is complete without obstacles. The Grinch has wreaked havoc on construction efforts with building citations and unforeseen delays. Will his antics impact your family-friendly fun? Participants will also enjoy hot chocolate and cider stations and Christmas cookie decorating! 100% proceeds support Habitat construction efforts in Coweta county.
