Main Street Newnan to host Oktoberfest on Oct. 3

Main Street Newnan continues its fall event schedule with the awaited annual Oktoberfest Beer Tasting on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 5 to 10 pm.
The Oktoberfest celebration is designed to bring beer enthusiasts downtown to enjoy a night of tasting Georgia craft brews. Over 30+ downtown business participants extend their business hours, and their hospitality, to downtown guests to serve as tasting locations for the different varieties of craft beer that is available for sampling. Downtown businesses provide complimentary refreshments, retail sales specials and other treats for all Oktoberfest guests.
Main Street Newnan releases a limited amount of 500 Oktoberfest tickets for drinkers that are available for purchase. Tickets are $33 and are available for purchase now! To purchase, click HERE. Main Street Newnan encourages interested guests to purchase tickets in advance, as tickets will sell out in advance of the event.
Participation in Oktoberfest festivities is cost free for non-drinking participants.
Upon sign-in, each participant will receive a commemorative beer mug and an informational brochure. Each participant will also receive a wristband to indicate that they are of legal drinking age. Event-goers must provide a valid photo ID at the registration table located at the Carnegie Library for admittance.
Event registration will take place from 5-7 pm. Guests will not be able to have tickets scanned after 7 pm.
This year, Main Street Newnan is partnering with Line Creek Brewing The Reserve for a special after-party
from 8-10pm. Ticket holders will receive two complimentary beers at The Reserve.
Oktoberfest tastings will occur at downtown businesses from 5-9 pm.
Free parking is available along downtown streets, and in the City of Newnan’s public parking lots, located at: 13 Lagrange Street, 25 Lagrange Street, 22 Spring Street, 6 First Avenue, 50 East Broad Street, 65 East Broad Street, 41 East Washington Street, and 22 East Broad Street.
