December, the month for gift giving, family and for celebrating the true purpose and reason for the season, Jesus – the greatest gift of all.

The treasure of the month for the Courthouse Square, the best kept secret in all of Georgia, is Georgia Peach Boutique. They just moved to 20 Perry Street so be sure to stop by and welcome the owner, Cheyenne Hannah, and check out her amazing shop. Tell her you read about it in The Paper.

The November 3rd Pop-Up Makers Day at RPM was indeed very impressive with 50 booths and tents all set up overflowing with items of all kinds. I saw many fresh new vendors for the first time that seemed to have invited a fresh new attitude and an air of positive energy permeating the entire Marketplace.

The November 15th Sip and See did not fare as well due to the rain and cold weather it was a mixed bag for some of the local businesses.

I need to buy stock in Red Letter Merchant – the coolest store in town – as the owner Tony Caro has a lot of things coming soon, such as live music, Mic Night and a night meeting for all musicians to come jam out and exchange ideas and information.

The art gallery of this unique boutique is taking on a life of its very own as the demand grows from the artists and interested customers alike. Many local artists such as Kerri Wadesworth and Josh Westerman have truly amazing paintings that are flying out the door faster than they can bring them in.

Do not take my word for it, check it out. Red Letter Merchant is located at 7 West Washington Street. Call Tony at 770-755-7142. Tell them you saw it in “The Paper.”

As everyone is preparing for the coming holidays, the Courthouse Square reminds me of that song “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas.” As we prepare our house and our stores to “look like Christmas,” we would do well to prepare our hearts, minds and spirit for the true reason for celebrating Christmas. Let us embrace each other with joy, goodwill and unconditional love, the whole world over.

As I am indeed living in my second half of my life journey, I am truly living heaven on Earth. I am surrounded by kind and loving people that embrace me everywhere I got. I noticed that my mind is becoming fuzzy  at times and it may take a minute to pull up that word I need to express myself and I am turning all such concerns and control over to the Divine Spirit. If I forget, please remind me who you are as that will help me to remember who I am. We are all connected to each other through the Divine Spirit and vice-versa.

Until next time, peace, love and respect.
