New Senior Living Homes coming to Christian City

From Special Reports
Christian City has broken ground for the construction of new senior living life-lease homes on its campus in Union City.
CEO Keith Horton, COO George Martin, board members and key contractors (pictured above) donned hard hats and wielded shovels recently to officially begin the expansion of Hilltop Acres. The 10 duplexes – 20 two-bedroom homes – should be move-in ready sometime this fall.
It is the first time new patio homes are being built since 1988. Active Senior Living staff are taking reservations for the new homes. For more information, contact Kim Williams at 770-703-2749 or by email at [email protected].
About Christian City
Christian City was founded in 1965 by a group of concerned citizens from area churches who built the first cottage as a refuge for children in need of a loving home. From the first 50 acres donated by Dr. Byron and Rose Marie Harper, the campus has grown to 500 acres where we continue to help vulnerable children and youth in need of a loving home.
Today we also serve young adults aging out of foster care, working families with children thrust into crisis by emergencies or job loss, and senior adults.
Over the years, senior housing was added to the campus. Four communities of patio homes with one- and two-bedroom floor plans offer affordable, neighborly and carefree living for active seniors age 65+. Amenities include a recreation program, transportation services, a nature path, bocce ball, shuffleboard and putting green, arts, entertainment and cultural programs, exercise facilities (including a fitness center and pool), a community garden, and a pet park.

I would like more information on the new 2 bedroom patio homes for seniors at Christian City. Thank you.
