Newnan Carnegie to host Presentation with Quilts of Valor

The Newnan Carnegie will host a special presentation with Quilts of Valor on Thursday, February 27.

This free event will begin at 11 a.m. and registration is not required.

Quilts of Valor is a national organization with the mission of awarding quilts to veterans and service members to thank, honor and comfort them. The Coweta County Quilts of Valor group has awarded almost 1,200 quilts locally to date.

“These presentations are such a positive, moving way for others to honor and show their gratitude or care for service members and veterans,” says Jessica Dunnington, the Newnan Carnegie Library Program Associate. “The quilts are always so well made, and everyone truly does such a tremendous job with it all.”
