Newnan seeks Public Input on Environmental Review

The City of Newnan is seeking public comment regarding two recently published Broad-Tiered Environment Review Records (ERR) and the Notice of No Significant Findings, and the Notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds for the FY2023 Congressionally Directed Spending Request of $4.6 Million for the Chalk Level Housing Rehabilitation Program.

The public is encouraged to share feedback regarding the documents until June 30, 2025. After this date, and upon the City responding to any comments, the City of Newnan will initiate submission requests to HUD (the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development) via the HEROS Portal.
