Main Street Newnan Oktoberfest

8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 40 Travis St. Produce, vendors and artisans. EVERY Saturday.

75th EMC Annual Membership Meeting and Appreciation Day
9 a.m. to noon at the CFEMC headquarters, 807 Collinsworth Road, Palmetto. Your participation is important! Fun Activities for all ages include: children’s activities, bingo for adults, and door prizes. Free concessions including Chick-fil-A biscuits, popcorn, cotton candy, and soft drinks. Prizes generously donated by vendors will be given away during the meeting. Every registered member will receive an Emergency Roadside Car Kit just for registering. One lucky member will walk away with the grand prize of a $1,000 electric bill credit! Each EMC member will have his/her name in the drawing and you must be present to win. Registration closes at 11 a.m., so be sure to arrive early. Take part in the Health Fair, provided by Piedmont Healthcare professionals. Parking is located at Northgate High School, 3220 Fischer Road, Newnan. Buses will transport you to and from EMC headquarters. For our disabled members, spaces located in front of the EMC entrance on Collinsworth Road will be available.

4 p.m. at Greenville Street Park in downtown Newnan …  an evening of family fun with food trucks, door prizes, live music and dancing. Bands include: Kris Youmans Band, Frankies Blues Mission, Leonard Washington, John Hensley Band, and Mary Claire Martin!

Main Street Newnan Spirits & Spice Festival
2 to 7 p.m.  It’s time to eat, drink, and get spooky! Event attendees will be able to get their “boos” on by walking the Downtown Spirits Trail and purchasing specialty cocktails at different participating locations, spice things up by tasting numerous types of chilis at the Chili Cook-Off, and have some skele-fun on the Twisted Trolley Tour ride. The Contenders at The Nixon Centre
