Rock Eagle 4-H Summer Camp: An Unforgettable Adventure

Coweta County, brace yourselves for a summer of a lifetime! Don’t miss an exhilarating 4-H Summer Camp from June 24-28, 2024, at Rock Eagle 4-H Center. This camp is exclusively tailored for 4th , 5th, and 6th graders as they immerse themselves in a whirlwind of excitement, education, discovery, and friendship that will last a lifetime!
Rock Eagle is the world’s largest 4-H Center with over 1,500 acres of forests and fields to explore, a 110 acre lake, and 57 comfortable cabins to get much needed rest at the end of an exciting day. Days are filled with fun classes, recreations, games, friends, and so much more!
Picture this: archery bullseyes, the rhythmic paddling of canoes on a lake, learning about fascinating creatures in Herpetology and Entomology classes, exploring the secrets of Lake Ecology, invigorating nature hikes, diving into a cool pool, and conquering new heights on a high ropes obstacle course (for 6th graders only). All these adventures, and more await Coweta County 4th , 5th , and 6th graders at 4-H Summer Camp at Rock Eagle 4-H Center June 24-28, 2024!
Experiencing 4-H Summer Camp is an unforgettable experience that millions of youth have experienced since it opened in 1952. An entire week of 4-H Camp comes at $450 and covers transportation, meals, a vast array of thrilling activities, and not to mention the experiences and life-long friendships that come from 4-H Summer Camp.
Imagine the look on a child’s face when they return home, bursting with stories of their incredible adventure at Rock Eagle 4-H Center! But space is limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opens on March 2, 2024, from 9 am to 1 pm at the Coweta County UGA Extension Office located at 255 Pine Rd. The line will be starting early so don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity.
Children return home from 4-H Summer Camp with tales of conquering their fears on the high ropes, learning new skills from the archery range, making new friends on the nature hikes and dances, and feeling the rush of the wind as they sail or canoe on the 110-acre Rock Eagle Lake.
