Spring Job Fair set for April 9 in Newnan

Over 200 full-time and 50 part-time jobs will be available from companies participating in the 2019 Spring Job Fair on Tuesday, April 9.

The event will take place at the Newnan First United Methodist Church Parish Hall. It is from 4-6 p.m. and the event is free for job seekers.

As of today, 20 companies have signed up to participate with slots remaining for 10 more to be added. Job positions range from retail to food service to professional to manufacturing. Job seekers should come prepared with several copies of recent resumes, dress for success and be prepared to apply for jobs “on the spot.”

The Spring Job Fair is sponsored by Goodwill of Newnan, Jobs for Georgia Graduates at Newnan High Schook, the Newnan First United Methodist Church Job Network, Georgia Department of Labor and the Coweta County Development Authority.

The Newnan FUMC is located at 33 Greenville Street in downtown Newnan.
