Looking for something to do on a rainy day? This workshop will give you ideas on games and stories to share in the camper or tent for those bad weather days. All ages welcome. Meet at Campground 1.  $2 plus $5 parking.

Hooch Hike and Paddle

Get the best of both worlds at the Bend — a 5.5 mile hike up the Riverside Trail to the bend boat launch and break for lunch. Then, a short instruction session to get you on your way; a nice, easy paddle back down the Chattahoochee. Boats are available to rent or bring your own. Register in advance, space is limited. Ages 10+  $12 per person plus $30 boat rental. $5 parking.

Glow in the Dark Bowling

Riverfest comes back to Newnan again and is bigger and better than ever. Kayak demos, Mountain bike demos, mountain bike pump track, rock walls, food trucks, live music and more. All funds raised at this event go towards the Chatt Bend MTB Trail Fund.

Sunrise on the Square 5K/10K Race
Saturday, Sept. 2

The Sunrise on the Square Labor Day Road Race is a local favorite, and has been held annually in Downtown Newnan on the Saturday before Labor Day for over 25 years.The race is a USATF certified course featuring chipped timing, where runners will enjoy the diversity of terrain, including: long flat stretches, downhill, and uphill sections.

Fall Art Walk
Friday, Sept. 8, 5 – 9 p.m.

The Art Walk Event is our celebration of local art, is hosted twice a year in downtown Newnan! During the Art Walk, businesses extend their hours to host store-front exhibits and demonstrations curated by a variety of Newnan’s finest artists. Complimentary tastings and hors d’oeuvres will be served by some of our local businesses, as well as specials and promotions.
