Christmas Show
Society of Seven, a group of Newnan’s finest artists, is having their Second Annual Christmas Show, Friday, Dec. 8,  from 6 to 9 p.m. and then Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Browse hundreds of works of art many depicting scenes from Newnan and the South. Children Connect Children Museum’s
First Annual Christmas Party
The Children Connect Newnan’s Children Museum is having its inaugural Christmas Party December 9th- doors open at 10 a.m till 3 p.m. Come visit Santa and receive a gift, ride Champion the Wonder Pony, come work in our elves workshop and make a keepsake ornament. Newnan Christmas Parade
Christmas Around the World
The City of Newnan’s annual Christmas parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 9th, beginning at 6 p.m. The theme is “Christmas Around the World!” The parade will include floats, walking groups, decorated cars and trucks, and marching bands. People’s Choice will be voted on Facebook by the public and on the city’s website  the next day and they will receive a plaque for this honor. The entry fee is $35.

DECEMBER 10 … SUNDAY
2nd Annual NJSL Luminaria
The Newnan Junior Service League “Light Up Newnan” is on Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. This event directly benefits our 2017-2018 grant recipient, Coweta CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), and all proceeds will go towards the training of volunteers to become court appointed advocates for abused and neglected children in our community. Each Luminaria kit is $1, and includes 12 candles, 12 white bags, 12 votive cups, and sand. You can place your orders online or download the Luminaria order form at www.njslserves.org. All Luminaria kits can be picked up on December 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Newnan First United Methodist Church located at 33 Greenville Street in downtown Newnan.
