From Staff Reports

The July 17 issue of The Coweta Shopper is now available for our readers online in a digital E-Edition format.

Yes, you read it correctly … The Coweta Shopper. After a two-year rebrand of switching the name to The Weekly, owners John and Corby Winters felt it was time to return this publication back to its original name – The Coweta Shopper. Same great content, same publication schedule, just back to an old familiar name. The change took place in time for the July 10 issue.

This week’s front page features a smorgasbord of Upcoming Events in-and-around Coweta County. Readers will also see a business spotlight on Carter Construction Company (formerly Southern Signature Solutions) focusing on its Distinctive Exterior Upgrades.

Below are the highlights of what readers will find in this week’s 16-page issue.

• Winters Media and Publishing, Inc., owners John and Corby Winters announce the return of an old friend.

• The Piedmont Newnan Hospital page has a pair of informative stories – NICU celebrates a reunion of families and staff and Men’s Health with screenings helping prevent negative health trends.

• Beth Dow writes that not everyone retires at 65 in this month’s Senior Living Advice column.

• Columnist Kathy Bohannon shares her experience undergoing a MRI.

• Angela McRae introduces a cool soup for a hot summer day – Cucumber and Greek Yogurt Soup.

• Looking for summer fun that comes with discounts? Columnist LaTina Emerson has you covered with some great ways to save $$$ while having fun.

• Jess Barron of Lindseys Inc. Realtors explains what the “Realtor Lawsuit” means.

• Bill Hammond, Coweta’s 4-H Extension Agent, recaps Summer Camps season.

• And publisher John Winters adds notes from here, there and the Internet in July’s Zen column.

The July 17 print edition is mailed to Zone 3 which encompasses zip codes 30265 (Newnan) and 30259 (Moreland).
