**Featured Musical performer for June**
Sara Greer
Sara Greer was born in Atlanta, lives in Newnan , just turned 17 on May 31st and has been playing, writing & performing in a wide variety of venues, opening for some notable acts in metro Atlanta area for quite some time. I’m always impressed by her confidence, beautiful voice, & songwriting beyond her years. She’s inspired by the music of Prince and Katy Perry and you can hear the strength and storytelling from the heart from the very first note she sings.
She recently opened for Tusk – a Fleetwood Mac tribute band @ Southern Ground Amphitheater, on June 8th she’ll sing the National Anthem in Montgomery Al, She’s one of our featured guests at Newnan Unplugged on June 16th, She’s also playing the Blacklight Mountain festival at The Alamo June 23rd. Other shows around metro Atlanta include
July 6th Food Truck Friday in Duluth, July 7th Twisted Taco Fayetteville, Ga, Tin Roof Cantina June 18th, Eddie Owens Presents @ The Red Clay Theater in Duluth. For a full list of Sara’s performances go to

Have you talked to Doug Kees about his recent tour with Michelle Malone? Many followed along on the virtual tour with them, & I personally can’t wait to hear more about some of the very cool venues they played as the band introduced Michelle’s new album Slings and Arrows  to audiences in the New England area!  This rootsy, blues, rock & soulful album is climbing the Billboard charts. “An album made in Georgia by Georgia musicians” says Michelle.
A wonderful album performed by an amazing group of musicians- make plans to see their Live shows – go to  www.michellemalone.com for tour dates & recent news.
