CLT THRIFT SHOP OPENS IN NEWNAN
10 am-5 pm, 10 The Boulevard, Newnan
Clothes Less Traveled Nonprofit Thrift Shop will hold the grand opening of its second location beginning at 10 am. CLT will open in Avery Park, located at 10 The Boulevard. The new store will offer a curated selection of affordable, gently used clothing and home decor. The Grand Opening will include free grilled hot dogs, special offers, and giveaways for shoppers. No donations will be accepted at this location due to the limited staff and space.
HOME SCHOOL: MAMMALS OF CHATTAHOOCHEE BEND

Join the Friends of Chattahoochee Bend State Park for their regularly scheduled workday! They’ll be tackling trail maintenance in various parts of the park. Meet at the VISITOR CENTER a little before 9 am. Bring string trimmers, hedge trimmers, loppers and pruning shears, and whatever other yardwork tools you have. Also bring plenty of hydration, snacks, and bug repellent!

BACK-TO-SCHOOL PARTY & PICNIC

Online Mega Pass Sales for the 2025 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair are underway. The Mega Pass gives Fair Attendees an unlimited ride armband to be used once any day during the fair from Sept. 18-28, 2025. You’ll receive both admission to the fair and the unlimited ride armband for only $30 – a savings of $15 on Fridays and Saturdays and $10 Sundays to Thursdays.
