Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure. “Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek….” And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. It’s the 9th Annual Artz ‘N Park festival will take place on Saturday, May 10. This free, one-day event will be held at Marimac Lakes Park in Senoia and is hosted by Southern Arc Dance Theatre. It will showcase the vibrant tapestry of artistic expression in a beautiful outdoor setting. The family-friendly event promises a day of creativity, celebration, and community from 1 to 7 p.m. with food, live performances, live music with Rhythm Major and readings and visual displays.
CATS ’N MATS KITTEN YOGA

MICRO WRESTLING RETURNS TO NEWNAN
