A TRIP THROUGH CALENDARIA

Please join us at the Newnan Carnegie Library along with special guest cartoonist Pilliard Dickle as he whisks you away to a land called Calendaria, where everything is made of days. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution calls his one-of-a-kind calendar creations “a feast for the imagination” and the Today show calls Pilliard Dickle “a born storyteller.” His new calendar for 2024 is based on downtown Newnan! HOLIDAY SIP AND SEE
5-9 p.m. at Downtown Newnan
The 2023 Holiday Season kicks off in downtown Newnan on Friday evening. Main Street Newnan is host to the Holiday Sip and See as downtown retail establishments extend their normal business hours to introduce holiday gift items, offers special promotions and discounts. The event takes place from 5-9 p.m. on Nov. 17 as over 35 downtown Newnan businesses will be participating.The Holiday Sip and See event is an opportunity for visitors to stroll through the streets of downtown Newnan with family and friends all the while enjoying the holiday hospitality. In addition to the retail businesses, a holiday market, live music and food trucks will be downtown. And don’t forget, many of the local retailers will be serving hor d’oeuvres and refreshments.

SENOIA ALIVE AFTER FIVE

Join the folks in Senoia for their November Alive After Five! They will have vendors, food trucks, live music by The Dirty Truth, a letters to Santa station, local shopping and much more! Come see Senoia decorated for the holidays and get a start on some Christmas shopping locally!

THE ACTOR’S WORKSHOP: THE DOOR OF DESTINY

SENOIA FARMERS MARKET

It is a community-oriented marketplace that features a variety of local farmers, food producers, artisans, and craftsmen. You can find a wide selection of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, herbs, and flowers. There are also local food producers selling homemade baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, and other artisanal products. GENTLE YOGA

THE BATTLE OF THE BADGES
11 a.m.- 5 p.m. at the Newnan Centre, 1515 Lower Fayetteville Road, Newnan
The City of Newnan Police Department, Newnan Fire Department, Coweta County Sheriff’s Office and the Coweta County Fire Rescue will battle it out in a no holds barred blood drive in association with the American Red Cross. The goal for the day – 75 pints of blood. When you arrive, let them know who you are rooting for and your blood will count towards your side’s pint tally.
