FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

HOMESCHOOL: BIRD ID AND MIGRATION

Ever wonder what birds you have in your backyard? Did you know that more than a million birds fly from the north to the south from late summer to early winter? Come join us on a birding hike to see what birds we can find. Learn which species come and go during fall migration and why. $5 parking, $3 a child. CHILDREN’S CRAFT
10-11 am, Newnan Carnegie Library, 1 LaGrange Street, Newnan • 770-683-1347
Join the folks at Carnegie Library for craft time! This month, attendees will be making a black cat in fall leaves. All supplies are provided. Children of all ages are welcome! Registration is required. To register, click  HERE.

DAY 9 – 2025 KIWANIS COWETA COUNTY FAIR
4 pm-Midnight, Coweta County Fairgrounds and Conference Center, 275 Pine Road, Newnan
It’s Day 9 of the 2025 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair as gates open at 4 pm. Admission is $10 with children 5-and-under free. Ride Armbands are $35. Individual Exhibits and Booths are in Exhibit Hall and Animal Exhibits take place in the Ag Building and Midway. There’s entertainment including the Georgia Untamed Petting Zoo, The Living Statue Bob Seymore, DJ King Justice provides the music, the McIntyre Circus, Miss Mary Ann’s Spin Art and Princesses. All six Coweta County schools are in action with kickoffs set for 7:30 pm.

MURDER MYSTERY

The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery opens its first of three weekends. This is a comedy play where a group of amateur actors, known for their comedic mishaps and poor acting skills, attempt to perform a murder mystery play called “Murder at Checkmate Manor,” with hilarious results due to forgotten lines, collapsing scenery, and general chaos, all while trying to maintain the illusion of a proper theatrical production. Tickets are $28 for adults, $20 for seniors and students, and $15 for children 10-and-under. To purchase tickets, click HERE.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27

FIDO FEST 5K & FUN RUN
8 am-1 pm, Ashley Park, 354 Newnan Crossing Bypass, Newnan
This event benefits the Hearts N’ Homes Rescue. The 5K Race is a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. Puppy Prance starts the day at 8 am, followed by the 1-Mile Fun Run at 8:15 am and the 5K Race at 8:30 am. The Fido Fest Vendor Market is from 10 am to 1 pm.

SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET

Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday. Fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans and much more.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET

Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.

SERENBE FARMERS AND ARTISTS MARKET

This weekly market partners with quality vendors including growers, artisans, craftmakers and healthy food producers. The market is filled with fresh produce, delicious foods, fine arts and crafts.

BARK ON THE PARK

Bring your furry canine on an autumn hike near the beautiful woodland creeks to enjoy the fall foliage. Stop by the Visitor Center to grab a bandana for Fido! Payment covers bandana for pup, if the owner wishes to have a matching one it is an additional $8. Payment breakdown: $4 per dog, $4 per person.

TURIN ANTIQUE FARM POWER SHOW & TRACTOR PULL
10 am, 78 Will Banks Road, Turin
The 29th Annual Turin Tractor Pull begins with a Parade at 10 am, followed by the Tractor Pull, Slow Race, Kids Pedal Race and Truck Pulling. All parking beyond show area around Will Banks Road. Hwy. 16. For more information, visit turintractorpull.com.

SENOIA CAR SHOW
10 am-4 pm, Downtown Senoia
The 20th Annual Senoia Car Show will showcase over 600 classic and custom cars from all over Georgia. Senoia Car Show features a range of vehicles, including vintage cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and custom trucks. The Senoia Car Show is a family-friendly event that offers something for everyone – food and beverage trucks, awards, live music and much more! The event is FREE for spectators to enjoy!

DAY 10 – 2025 KIWANIS COWETA COUNTY FAIR
Noon-Midnight, Coweta County Fairgrounds and Conference Center, 275 Pine Road, Newnan
It’s Day 10 of the 2025 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair and Military Appreciation Day as gates open at noon with a full 12-hours of fun and family entertainment scheduled. Admission is $10 with children 5-and-under free. As far Military Appreciation Day, all active and retired Military personnel are granted Free Admission with ID. Ride Armbands are $35. Individual Exhibits and Booths are in Exhibit Hall and Animal Exhibits take place in the Ag Building and Midway. Headlining the Entertainment is Donald White The Science Guy, The Living Statue Bob Seymore, music from Rhythm Major, Princesses, Georgia Untamed Petting Zoo, the McIntyre Circus, and Miss Mary Ann’s Spin Art. MICRO WRESTLING
7 pm, Abide Brewing Company, 130 Werz Industrial Drive, Newnan
The Micro Wrestling Federation is a full-scale, WWE type event supported by an entire cast under five feet tall. It’s going to be pandemonium as the Micro Wrestlers body slam, bear hug, and headlock throughout an evening of nonstop action. For tickets, click HERE.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

7TH ANNUAL RIDE FOR RECOVERY
1 pm, Change Church, 45 West Broad Street, Grantville
FAITH Riders, Change Church Chapter will host the 7th Annual Ride for Recovery. The ride will start at Change Church and end at Coweta FORCE, 36 Salbide Avenue, Newnan. Kickstands up at 1 pm. There will be free food, music, raffles and Photo Booth. For more info, click HERE.

DAY 11 – 2025 KIWANIS COWETA COUNTY FAIR
2-10 pm, Coweta County Fairgrounds and Conference Center, 275 Pine Road, Newnan
It’s the final day – Day 11 – of the 2025 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair as gates open at 2 pm. Admission is $10 with children 5-and-under free. Ride Armbands are $30. Headlining the Entertainment is the Georgia Untamed Petting Zoo, the McIntyre Circus, Miss Mary Ann’s Spin Art, DJ Richard Oteri, a Mariachi Band, The Living Statue Bob Seymore and Princesses.
