PREP FOOTBALL
Coweta County high school football teams in action this weekend.
Cambridge at East Coweta … rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 at 10:30 a.m.
Langston Hughes at Newnan … rescheduled for Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
McIntosh at Northgate … rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 at Noon
Trinity Christian at Whitewater, 7:30 p.m.
Heritage School at Piedmont Academy … postponed / no makeup date reported
Praise Academy at Central Christian School … rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m.

ON CLOVER ROAD

It’s the Georgia Premier of “On Clover Road” by Steven Dietz. At an abandoned motel on a desolate American road, a mother meets with a cult deprogrammer, believing she will be reunited with her runaway daughter. SATURDAY FOOD DISTRIBUTION
8 a.m., Bridging The Gap, 19 1st Avenue, Newnan
Free weekly drive-thru food pantry. Boxes typically include frozen meat, fresh fruits and produce, dairy, bread and desserts. First come, first served. Registration is required on site the day of distribution.

COWETA COUNTY FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 a.m., Asa Powell Expo Center, 197 Temple Avenue, Newnan • 770-254-2620
Your favorite farm families and vendors return alongside exciting new additions, all eager to meet you at the Coweta County Farmer’s Market! In addition, Coweta County UGA Extension’s Family & Consumer Science Agent will join us this season with fun cooking demos, food safety tips and children’s activities. Plus, don’t miss the chance to meet your new furry best friend, as Coweta County Animal Services will be on-site offering pet adoptions.

SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., 40 Travis Street, Senoia
Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.

SERENBE FARMERS MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., The Grange Green, 10640 Serenbe Lane, Chattahoochee Hills
The Serenbe Farmers Market hosts Growers, Artisans, Craft-makers, and Healthy Food Producers. Parking is available along Serenbe Lane in Grange.

TURIN ANTIQUE FARM POWER SHOW & TRACTOR PULL
10 a.m., Highway 16, Turin
This 28th annual event hosted by Turin Antique Tractor Association, Inc. Activities include Parade at 10 a.m., Tractor Pull, Slow Race, Kids Pedal Race, and Truck Pulling. All parking beyond show area around Will Banks Road. Hwy. 16, Turin, GA. For more information, visit www.turintractorpull.com.

WINE FLIGHTS AT NIGHT

This is a 21+ Event. Please bring a valid form of ID for all participating parties. $20 for each participant. This includes four three ounce pours of wine, 12 ounces total. A portion of the proceeds from these flights goes directly to The Reserve at Peachtree City, a local Assisted Living and Memory Care community. DANCER AUDITIONS – THE NUTCRACKER RE-IMAGINED

ANNUAL GOLD STAR INITIATIVE LUMINARY CEREMONY
7 p.m., Veteran’s Memorial Park, Downtown Newnan
Everyone is invited to this Gold Star Family Day event to light luminaries at dusk in honor of Fallen Heroes – giving a voice to those lost while serving our nation, their names should be spoken. Hosted by the Gold Star Initiative Committee. In case of inclement weather, the event will move indoors to McKoon Funeral Home.
