Weekend Guide: December 20-21-22

From Staff Reports
As most would imagine, the closer to Christmas the fewer events are scheduled. And that’s the case this December weekend here in Coweta County.
The long-standing events/services such as the Chattahoochee Bend State Park Scavenger Hunt, Dog and Cat Adoptions, Newnan Trolley, LaGrange Carriage Rides, Fantasy In Lights, and Sweetland on Ice are scheduled for the entire weekend.
Highlights from the upcoming weekend include Senoia’s Alive After Five on Friday, an Afternoon with an Author or Two and Newnan Unplugged on Sunday.
There are also three stage productions to choose from – Narnia, Sanders Family Christmas and The Nutcracker – and the live and local music scene.
For more events, check our Facebook page by clicking: https://www.facebook.com/pg/wintersmedia/events/.
Weather-wise, Friday appears to be the best of the three-day weekend with mostly sunny skies and a high of 52 degrees. On Saturday and Sunday, expect rain to move into the area with highs near 50.
Below is the day-to-day listing of events in the area. To have your event published, please email [email protected].
