KNB to host Paint Recycling Event on Saturday

Keep Newnan Beautiful will host a Paint Recycling event on Saturday, October 22, the second of two paint recyclings scheduled in 2022.

Fees will apply for the various types of paint during this event, which takes place in the Newnan City Hall parking lot located at 25 LaGrange Street in downtown Newnan. It will be from 8 a.m. to noon.

Paint Recycling is for wet paint only. Costs are $1 each for spray paint cans, $3 per gallon of latex paint, $4 per gallon of oil paint and $3 per gallon of deck/wood stain. No solvents, paint thinner/remover, epoxy,  adhesives, laquers, gasoline, mercury or lead paint will be accepted.

Fee discounts will apply for City of Newnan residents.

One final Keep Newnan Beautiful event is remaining on the 2022 calendar. A Paper Shredding  Event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3.
