Lisa Ambrosia visits PNH on Grateful Patient Day

Last month, the ICU at Piedmont Newnan Hospital received a very special visitor.

The visitor – Lisa Ambrosia – came to celebrate Grateful Patient Day on September 7.

Two years ago, Lisa was battling COVID-19 and spent two months in the ICU very sick. Her husband was told at the time that she may never walk out of the hospital. But she did.

And now, two years later, she is hiking waterfalls, planting flowers in her garden, and spending time with friends, family and loved ones. She thanks her care team for fighting for her and saving her life.
