From Staff Reports

The 76th version of the Kiwanis Coweta County Fair is set to kick off tonight at the Coweta County Fairgrounds.

Gates open at 4 p.m. for the 11-day session with free admission as part of Midway Preview Day. Only Rides, the Exhibit Building and Food are available on Day One.

Besides the fair opening, the other headlining item this evening will be the weather. The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect rain chances at 70 percent with a high temperature of 74 degrees and overnight low around 67. East wind will be 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30, which folks can thank the remnants of Hurricane Francine for the gusty wind and rain. For the latest info on the weather, click HERE.

Any weather-related issues for the fair, folks can check the Newnan Kiwanis FACEBOOK PAGE.
