4th Annual Senoia PorchFest set for Sunday, August 31

The 4th Annual Senoia PorchFest returns on Sunday, August 31 as 29 different bands perform across various downtown porches and venues.
Classic rock, R&B and folk musician Marty James Martin gets things started at 2 p.m. with the VIP Pre-Party at 40 Travis Street (Senoia Farmers Market). Attendees can expect many genres at the PorchFest from Rock, Pop, Country, Yacht Rock, Blues, Alternative, Soul, Funk, R&B to Folk.
Sets will begin at the top of the hour at 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 p.m. with Rhythm Major wrapping up the day’s festivities on the Main Stage (across from Senoia Beer Company) at 8 p.m.
Senoia PorchFest is a community-based music event that takes place on residential porches in Senoia. Porches and yards become stages for local and regional bands and musicians. Senoia’s streets become artist galleries and walk-up restaurants.
PorchFest is a FREE event to attend, organized and sponsored by the Senoia Downtown Development Authority. In addition to the music, PorchFest also includes food vendors, art displays, and kids’ activities!
PorchFest is also a pedestrian event. Last year’s PorchFest was attended by over 5,000 music enthusiasts. The streets where PorchFest will take place will be closed to all automobile and golf cart traffic. Attendees are encouraged to park in downtown Senoia and walk to the porches and stages. Walking shoes and folding chairs are recommended. Limited golf cart shuttles will be available to get participants to the PorchFest perimeter, but no transportation will be available within the perimeter of the event.
