The Coweta County Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (N.A.A.C.P.) will host its annual Freedom Fund Fundraiser from 6:30 – 9 p.m. on Monday, June 19.  This year’s fundraiser theme includes “A Night of Culture”.

The NAACP’s mission is to achieve equity, political rights, and social inclusion by advancing policies and practices that expand human and civil rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate the well-being, education, and economic security of Black people and all persons of color.

To commemorate this year’s Annual Freedom Fund fundraiser, the NAACP of Coweta County will host a dinner along with networking and community-building opportunities.  The evening’s event costing $50 per person will allow an opportunity to bid on the beautiful art created by three local Black artists. The event will be held at the Old Moreland Mill, 7 Main Street in Moreland, GA  30259.  The attire is casual chic.

Tickets for the evening affair may be purchased through Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/a-night-of-culture-by-the-coweta-county-naacp-tickets-631559520527

The Event’s sponsors include The City of Hope; Smith Automotive Group: Nissan of Newnan; Coggins Travel; Crain Oil Company; Newnan Chapel UMC; Kurved by K; Newnan Utilities; John Herbert Cranford, DA; Newnan Democratic Party; Edward Jones Investment – Chad Smith; Brittain Chiropractic; and Elevation 5.0.
