From Coweta County Schools Press Release

All three Coweta County high school football programs kick off their 2020 seasons with home games this week.

East Coweta, Northgate and Newnan High Schools are all encouraging fans to purchase online tickets early, since stadiums will have limited seating capacity. Tickets are available online through GoFan.  This week’s games are:

East Coweta Indians vs. Starr’s Mill Panthers (Thursday, Sept. 3) – https://gofan.co/app/school/GA4976 for tickets.

Northgate Vikings vs. Sandy Creek Patriots (Thursday, Sept. 3) – https://gofan.co/app/school/GA5204 for tickets.

Newnan Cougars vs. Whitewater Wildcats (Saturday, Sept. 5) – https://gofan.co/app/school/GA5190 for tickets.

All three schools will limit the number of tickets sold in order to provide social distancing for fans in the stands, to about 30 percent capacity of their stadiums. Northgate is limiting tickets to 1,200, East Coweta to 1,500 and Newnan to 2,200.

All students, staff and fans are expected to wear adequate masks or face coverings when entering and exiting stadiums for this week’s games, and wear them while on campus when social distancing is not possible in order to protect at-risk staff and community members.  Hand sanitizer will be available in stadiums.

Stadium seating will be marked off for social distancing in the stands, and all students and guests are asked to respect social distancing requirements. While families and households can sit together, fans are otherwise asked to keep distance between themselves and other fans.

Concession stands will have pre-packaged food for purchase. Students and guests who are six feet apart at all times may choose to take their masks off to eat and drink.  All students and guests are asked to keep their masks on while moving around the athletic facilities, to avoid congregating if possible, and to maintain social distancing as much as possible.

All middle school students and elementary school students (those 14 or under) must be accompanied by their parent or guardian to be allowed entry into the high school stadiums for this week’s games.  Unaccompanied middle school and elementary school students will not be allowed into the gates.

After the game, families and students are encouraged to continue to maintain social distancing inside or outside the stadium as they depart.
