Annual Munchkin Masquerade set for Halloween morning

From Staff Reports

It’s almost time for a very popular event in downtown Newnan – the Munchkin Masquerade, the annual downtown Trick-or-Treat for the little ones!

The Munchkin Masquerade will take place on Halloween morning (Oct. 31). It begins at 10 a.m. and will end at noon. Children from around the greater Newnan-Coweta County area gather around the Courthouse Square to collect treats from downtown businesses. Costumes are always welcomed and encouraged. This event typically hosts a crowd of around 1,000 children and lasts 2 hours.

Free public parking is available along downtown streets and in the numerous off-street lots located on the corner of LaGrange Street and Spring Street, First Avenue and Spring Street, East Broad Street and Perry Street and East Washington Street and Perry Street.
