Piedmont Newnan Hospital, in 12 years of service to the community as a non-profit healthcare provider, will hold its inaugural philanthropic event – the Piedmont Newnan Soiree – on Friday, Oct. 25 at The Terrace at the Newnan Centre.

Proceeds from the event will support the Thomas F. Chapman Cancer Wellness Center at Piedmont Newnan, making it possible to offer complimentary support services and programs such as yoga, cooking demonstrations, expressive art classes and counseling to anyone affected by cancer, regardless of whether or not he or she is a Piedmont patient.

“Many people don’t realize we are a not-for-profit hospital and that many of our programs and services would not be possible without the generous support of our community and donors,” said Mike Robertson, CEO of Piedmont Newnan. “This inaugural event allows us to celebrate Piedmont Newnan’s accomplishments and the community that has supported us, while raising money for those affected by cancer.”

The masquerade-themed event, presented by BMW of South Atlanta, will feature cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres, music entertainment by Doug Kees and Moonshine, dancing and an overall unique experience as the first event at The Terrace at the Newnan Centre. Occurring the week before Halloween, attending the Piedmont Newnan Soiree could be the perfect way to spend an incredible fall evening under the stars.
