Barbie Movie, Girls Night Out set for Downtown Newnan

Newnan Leisure Services is hosting a Girls Night Out to celebrate Women’s History Month.
A free showing of the movie “Barbie” will take place on Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Wadsworth Auditorium, located at 25 Jefferson Street in downtown Newnan. There will be free popcorn and water while supplies last. Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase.
The Newnan Carnegie Library will be joining in on the fun with friendship bracelet making in the lobby
before the show starting at 5 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to come dressed in all pink.
Moviegoers can visit participating businesses around downtown Newnan to see their event-themed drink and menu specials while also grabbing a unique charm for the friendship bracelets at each location. Participating businesses include Leaf and Bean, The Bays, The Alamo, Meat N Greet, The Reverie, Pink Flamingo Kids, and Mad Mexican. Participants who collect at least four of these unique charms will be entered in a raffle.
