Hike and Paddle
Saturday, July 6, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Join us for a 5.5 mile hike up the Riverside Trail along with an hour long paddle down. You MUST pre-register for this event by calling. Kayaks are available for rent if needed for $30. $12 plus $5 parking.

Eye-Spy Scavenger Hunt
Saturdays in July, 6, 13, 20, 27, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Bring your camera and take a look around our park for the items on our scavenger hunt list. Take a picture with each item on our list and bring your completed list and pictures to the office to claim your prize. Stop by the visitor center to pick up your scavenger hunt checkoff list! $5 parking

Jr. Ranger Camp

Join us for Jr. Ranger Camp for ages 7-12. Jr. Rangers will learn several valuable skills including campfire building, survival skills, basic first aid, archery, tree ID, and many more! Participating families start their journey at the McRitchie-Hollis Museum where they can pick up their passport booklet for a $5 donation (active Newnan-Coweta Historical Society members receive a free booklet). Touring the Museum earns participants their first “stamp.”
