Eye-Spy Scavenger Hunt
Saturdays in September, 7, 14, 21, 28. 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Bring your camera and take a look around our park for the items on our scavenger hunt list. Take a picture with each item on our list and bring your completed list and pictures to the office to claim your prize. Stop by the visitor center to pick up your scavenger hunt checkoff list! $5 parking

Grandparents Day Craft
Saturday, Sept. 7, noon – 1 p.m.
Bring the grand kids out and celebrate grandparent’s day crafting with us! We will paint pinecones just in time for fall coming up! $3 plus $5 parking.

Meet the Turtles
Saturday, Sept. 14, noon – 1 p.m.
Join our naturalist to learn more about the turtles we have here at the visitor center. Get an up-close look at our turtles and watch during our feeding time! $5 parking.

Homeschool – Mammals and TracksBats at the Bend
Wednesday, Sept. 18, noon – 1 p.m.
Join our naturalist to learn about bats in our region and why we have bat boxes in the park. We will also have a bat related craft! Meet at Day Use Area. $5 plus $5 parking.

Archery at the Park
Saturday, Sept. 21, 1-3 p.m.
Join us for archery in the park. ages 10+, MUST preregister for this event. Participants must be at the archery range at 1:00 for the safety course. $12 plus $5 parking.

Our annual beer tasting event! Oktoberfest event will highlight craft brews from across the state of Georgia. Complimentary refreshments, retail sales specials and other treats will be made available for all participating attendees.
