Weather Week in Coweta: Continued hot and dry

The late summer heat wave continues here in Coweta County for at least another week.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect Heat Index Values (temperature plus humidity) at 100 degrees today (Monday) and Tuesday. High temperatures will be in the mid-90s all week with little or no chance of an afternoon pop-up shower. In fact, the only mention of rain is a 30 percent chance on Tuesday.
