Eye-Spy Scavenger Hunt
Saturdays on November 9, 16, 23, 30, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Bring your camera and take a look around our park for the items on our scavenger hunt list. Take a picture with each item on our list and bring your completed list and pictures to the office to claim your prize. Stop by the visitor center to pick up your scavenger hunt checkoff list! $5 parking

Fall Painting at the Bend
Saturday, Nov. 9, 9 to 10 a.m.
Join us to paint your own canvas at the river boat ramp. Bring warm clothes and a blanket/towel to sit on. No experience needed, all supplies are provided. Please call and preregister for this event. $12 plus $5 parking.

Homeschool – Turkey Talk
Wednesday, Nov. 13, noon to 1 p.m.
Join our naturalist to learn about wild turkeys and play turkey BINGO! $5 plus $5 parking.

Meet the Turtles
Saturday, Nov. 16, noon to 1 p.m.
Join our naturalist for the last Meet the Turtles of the season! Come see stumpy and his friends as we talk about what turtles do in the winter. $5 parking

Thanksgiving Fall Craft
Saturday, Nov. 23, noon to 1 p.m.
Join our naturalist for turkey pinecones crafts to decorate for Thanksgiving with. All materials will be provided. $5 plus $5 parking.

Create Your Own Hiking Stick
Saturday, Nov. 30, noon to 1 p.m.
Pick your own bamboo stick and paracord to wrap your stick and decorate it however you want! $5 plus $5 parking.

Vienna Boys Choir
November 9
Featuring 100 choristers between the ages of nine and fourteen, divided into four touring choirs. Each choir spends nine to eleven weeks of the academic year on tour. Together, the choirs give 300 concerts each year, attended by almost half a million spectators around the world. The choir regularly tours Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas. The Vienna Boys Choir repertoire includes everything from medieval to contemporary music.

Sinatra Forever
Nov. 14, 7 p.m.
SINATRA FOREVER is a concert that pays homage to one of the greatest singers of all time. This is not an impersonation show, but an interpretation performed by Rick Michel. “I think Frank Sinatra was the most articulate of all the pop and standard singers,” said Michel. “He made songs his own by uniquely phrasing the words to wrap around the melody line like no one else before him or since.”

Ensemble Chaconne
Nov. 19, 7 p.m.
ENSEMBLE CHACONNE enthralls audiences with dramatic period-instrument performances of music from Renaissance and Baroque Europe. Their repertoire ranges from well-known masterpieces to recently discovered works. Peter H. Bloom (Renaissance and Baroque flutes), Carol Lewis (viola da gamba), and Olav Chris Henriksen (lute, theorbo, and early guitar) bring exhilaration and theatrical intensity to an intimate chamber setting.

Santa on the Square
Friday, Nov. 29, 6-8 p.m.
Santa will arrive downtown in a Fire Truck, and will immediately light the Christmas tree located on the Court House Square. After the lighting of the Christmas tree, children are invited to sit on Santa’s lap and read him their Christmas list!

Market Day
Saturday, Dec. 7, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Market will feature over 50 unique spaces, with a variety of one-of-a-kind gift items. Market Day favorites include: fresh locally grown produce, honey, jams & jellies, pottery, art, hand-woven baskets, leather products, etc.

2019 Christmas Parade
Saturday, Dec. 14, 6 p.m.
This year, the city of Newnan presents “Christmas Movies” in downtown Newnan. Several local businesses, churches, schools and others will display various floats and performances inspired from some of your favorite Christmas Classics!
