Citizen Of The Year Nominees Named

The Kiwanis Clubs of Coweta County have announced the nominations for Citizen of the Year. They are: Ronny D. Jones, president of his own construction company; Melvin Kendrick, community volunteer and director of marketing for Nissan of Newnan; Garnet Reynolds, president of BB&T; Marie Swope, longtime community volunteer and philanthropist; Mark Whitlock, CEO of the Central Educational Center.

The awards dinner is Thursday, Jan. 31, at The Newnan Centre. Tickets are available at the Newnan Coweta Chamber of Commerce and Lindsey’s Inc. Realtors and must be purchased by Jan. 17.
